UDDEVALLA (Sweden) 17th August 2026 – The FIM Snowcross World Championship looked ahead to its 2027 season last weekend, as organizers, national federations and riders gathered in Uddevalla for the annual SNX Organizers Meeting, held in the margin of the Grand Prix of Sweden.
Bringing the snowcross community together in the middle of a Swedish summer. With the MXGP paddock already assembled at Glimminge Motorstadion, the meeting offered a rare window in which every party involved in delivering the SNX championship could sit at the same table at the same time.
Attendance was complete. Every 2027 event organizer was represented, alongside the full delegations of the three Scandinavian federations that form the backbone of the discipline: Svemo, the Swedish Motorcycle and Snowmobile Federation; Norges Motorsportforbund; and Suomen Moottoriliitto ry of Finland. Türkiye, whose Rize round has become a cornerstone of the calendar, completed the organizer representation. Infront Moto Racing was represented by Chief Operating Officer Daniele Rizzi and Patricia Maskarova Infront Moto Racing SNX General Manager, with Marketing Director Marionna Leiva conducting the presentation. Present also was the FIM spearheaded by Antonio Alia Portela, FIM / CMS Commissioner along with Marko Saareke FIM SNX and JMX Race Director

What set this edition apart was the presence of the riders themselves. Among them was Wilma Jonsson, who claimed her first WSNX World Championship in Trondheim in April. She was joined by Emil & Filip Harr, Hilda Ohman and Kelly Kollier. SNX and WSNX competitors joined the federation officials and promoters around the table, giving the meeting a 360-degree view of the championship.
Discussion centred on the 2027 calendar, event standards and the continued growth of the women’s class, with the provisional schedule already taking shape around Rize in Türkiye, Rovaniemi in Finland and the Trondheim finale in Norway.
The 2027 FIM Snowcross World Championship season gets underway in January.
