KAYSERI-ERCIYES (Turkiye) 15 March 2025 – The second round of the FIM Snowcross World Championship in Türkiye delivered some electric battles under difficult conditions. Melting snow made the Erciyes track even more challenging, making racing lvery technical and forcing riders to carefully time their moves.
SNX ROUND

The opening Final 1 saw Aki Pihlaja (Lynx) grab the holeshot, launching into the lead while Elias Ishoel (Ski-Doo) quickly settled into second. The melting track made passing extremely difficult, but Ishoel stayed close, waiting for the perfect opportunity. His patience paid off when a yellow flag incident occurred just after the finish jump. Using the moment to his advantage, Ishoel made slight contact with Pihlaja and managed to push into the lead after four laps. Once ahead, he controlled the pace and secured the victory.
In Final 2, Pihlaja responded with a commanding win, crossing the line ahead of Ishoel, who was unable to replicate his earlier move. Mille Andersson (Ski-Doo) secured a double podium finish, finishing third in both races. Martin Johansson (Ski-Doo) improved significantly in the second race, securing fourth. Robert Lunden (Ski-Doo) also delivered a strong performance, finishing fifth in both races.
With a 1-2 result across the two finals, Aki Pihlaja emerged as the overall winner, reclaiming the red plate in the championship standings. Elias Ishoel, finishing second overall, trails by just one point. Mille Andersson’s consistency placed him third overall, keeping him in the hunt for the title.
